In the spring of 2003, Eric Chan, a Chinese Canadian working for a leading office furniture company in Shanghai, and Greg Ng, a real estate analyst, crossed paths again in Shanghai. They had been high school buddies in Hong Kong, but had gone on separate ways to further their education - Greg to England where he had obtained a degree in The London School of Economics, and Eric had emigrated to Canada and acquired a degree of Bachelor of Commerce in the University of Toronto. Both were music lovers and hi-fi enthusiasts, with a profound interest in modern classic furniture and an appreciation for the finer things in life. They had come up with a unique formula to turn their interests and hobbies into a successful business. Studio-FH was founded a year later on this common ground. And the rest, as they say, is history.

From a humble beginning in a small old house in Yu Yuan Road, the business has expanded rapidly in just a few years. Today, Studio-FH occupies a 250 square meter premises to house their office and showroom on Hua Shan Road. It is the only business in Shanghai, perhaps in the world for that matter, to promote a better lifestyle, encompassing Hi-fi and AV equipments, designer furniture, lighting and other home-improvement products all under one roof.

Studio FH owes much of its success to the support of their many loyal customers, most of them expatriates, who are pleased to refer SFH to their circle of friends.
